Tooth Pain

Tooth Pain

Sudden tooth pain can sometimes indicate a serious dental issue. If you’re experiencing that, you should contact a dentist immediately. In many cases, tooth pain is evidence of a cavity. In other cases it’s the result of grinding or clenching of the teeth.

Over-the-counter pain relievers can be a good temporary solution for this problem. We recommend combining extra strength Tylenol with Ibuprofen 500 mg (Advil) 200 mg every four to six hours if you have no allergies to either medication.

The phones at Dental Care Springfield are staffed around the clock every day of the week, so please feel free to call us at any hour in the event of a dental emergency. You can reach us at (973) 506-0159. A member of our well-trained team is available to help you at all times.
